Criteria for Application
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of DAFHeart4, we proudly announce to you the opportunity to participate in:-
DAR EL FOUAD BEST CASE PRESENTATION COMPETITION
We offer cardiologists the opportunity to demonstrate their experience through presenting their most challenging coronary-intervention cases.
Criteria of candidates presenting:
- Staff or fellow in a university, military, private or governmental institutes.
- Holding MD or equivalent degree
- Not holding a consultancy position
- Age less than 45 years.
- Procedure must have been performed by presenter.
Participants who wish to submit clinical cases should follow the guidelines:
- Introduction of the case
- Description of the problem
- Procedure and technique used
- Take home message.
Presentation format:
- PowerPoint, with single pictures and animations (mpeg, jpeg, avi).
- IMPORTANT: files over 2 MB will be refused.
- No physical slides are allowed, only computer presentations will be allowed.
- Time of each presentation: 15 min (10 min. presentation & 5 min discussion)
The Jury Committee will grade the presentations according to the following criteria:
- Teaching and educational value
- Adherence to published evidence
- Originality of the case.
- Clinical message.
Prizes:
- Valuable prizes will be offered including travel to Europe for a certified, coronary, interventional course
